Through this Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the Petitioner is essentially seeking direction to the Respondent No. 1 to increase reservations for the advertised posts from the given 3% to the mandated 4% to persons with disabilities as per section 34 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

The learned counsel for the Respondent No. 1 on instruction submits that to fill up the deficiency of 1% as per the requirement of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, the fresh advertisement will be issued in January, 2018. Vishal Parekar 1/2

In view of aforesaid statement made by the learned counsel for the Respondent No. 1, the learned counsel for the Petitioner does not want to press this Petition. In the circumstances, the Petitions is dismissed as withdrawn. 4.
