Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned AGP for the State.

The caste claim of the petitioner as belonging to 'Kunbi' has been invalidated by the order dated 12th October, 2018.

We fnd that in School Leaving Certifcate and education records of the petitioner only, caste has been recorded as 'Kunbi'. Documents of his father mentions the same as 'Maratha'.

8-WP-1407618.odt The Scrutiny Committee has , accordingly, found no substance in the caste claim of the petitioner. We also fnd that petitioner was probably misled by mentioning of caste 'Kunbi' in documents of his grandmother and father's sister. That entry is verifed by the Vigilance Cell and is not found substantiated. In this situation, as we do not see any merit in the challenge, we dispose of the Writ Petition with no costs. (SANDEEP K.
