The Petitioners submitted that they filed an appeal to the Principal Secretary, Social Welfare Department, bearing Appeal no.235 of 2015 against the purported order dated 18th June,2015 passed by the Additional CEO, Zilla Parishad, Solapur. By an order dated 27th October,2015 the Principal Secretary directed the Additional Chief Executive Officer to dispose of the matters pending before him expeditiously and within fifteen days from the date of the order.

The grievance of the Petitioners is that inspite of repeated requests neither the Appellate Authority is hearing the matter nor the order passed by the Principal Secretary is complied with by the Additional Chief Executive Officer.

In the facts, the extraordinary writ jurisdiction of this Court need not be invoked. The Petitioners are entitled to approach the Appellate Authority i.e. the Principal Secretary who shall look into the matter.
