The Petitioner's contention is that her husband was working with the Respondent-Corporation and he died on 28th June 2009 while he was in service. The Petitioner filed an Application for appointment on compassionate ground.

The learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner's Application is still pending and is not yet decided. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the

wp.761-2014 contention raised by the Petitioner, we direct the Respondent-Corporation to take appropriate decision on the Application filed by the Petitioner and intimate such decision to the Petitioner within 8 weeks from today. Writ Petition is disposed of.
