The learned APP on instructions from the Investigating Officer submitted that till today no cognizable offence is registered against the applicant and therefore, the apprehension of the applicant is without any substance. However, the concerned police station is hereby directed to give notice of at least 48 hours to the applicant after lodgment of the FIR with a view to enable him to adopt appropriate remedy as may be permissible under the law.

In view thereof, the present application is disposed off with the aforesaid direction.
