Challenging the inaction on the part of Respondent No. 2 - The Collector, Palghar in not deciding the Petitioner's application seeking permission to sale the land under Section 36 and 36(A) of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 the Petitioner has filed this Petition.

According to the Petitioner, she had submitted an application on 16th January, 2012 (Exhibit "D") before Respondent No. 2 but till date the application has not been considered and decided.

Having regard to the aforesaid limited grievance, we Vishal Parekar 1/2
prod-502-wp-1742-2017.doc dispose of this Petition by directing Respondent No. 2 to consider and take appropriate decision on the application (Exhibit "D") in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible but in any case not later than four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

The Petitioner is at liberty to submit a fresh application with supporting documents before Respondent No. 2 along with copy of this order.
