Rule. By consent, Rule is made returnable forthwith. 3.
The petitioner is a life convict. The prayer in the present petition is for his premature release. The learned APP on the basis of communication sent by the Superintendent of Kolhapur Central Prison, Kalamba, Kolhapur, states that the petitioner has completed his period of imprisonment and has been released from prison on 8.1.2016. The said communication is taken on record and marked 'X' for identification. 4.
