Perused the affidavit-in-reply filed by the Jail Superintendent. It shows that the respondents have complied with all the directions issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court and National Human Rights Commission and in our considered opinion, such compliance serves the purpose of the petition. The petition is, therefore, disposed of as having served its purpose. We, however, direct the Disciplinary Authority to conclude the disciplinary proceedings in accordance with law at the earliest and in any case within a period of one year from the receipt of writ of this Court.
