Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned APP for the State.

This is an application for modification of the condition imposed by order dated 27/01/2021 by this Court. By order dated 21/09/2018, the applicant was directed to report to the Economic Offences Wing, Unit No. 1, Mumbai once a month. Then by subsequent order dated 27/01/2021, the condition was further modified and the applicant was then asked to report to Economic Offences Wing, Unit No. 1, Mumbai once in 3 months.

The applicant is a woman and she has been regularly 1/2

Darshan Patil 27-ia-4485-22.odt attending the office of the Economic Offences Wing, Unit No. 1, Mumbai. There are no allegations that she is misusing her liberty. The applicant is not a flight risk. Considering that for the past 5 years, she has been scrupulously abiding by the conditions along with those conditions which came to be modified by subsequent order and as the trial is likely to take a long time to conclude as there is hardly any progress in the trial, in the interest of justice, the condition of attending Economic Offences Wing, Unit No. 1, Mumbai needs to be modified.

Therefore, the applicant shall report to the Economic Offences Wing, Unit No. 1, Mumbai, once in 6 months i.e. on the first Monday between 10.00 am and 12.00 noon, commencing March 2023. The rest of the order dated 21/01/2021 to remain as it is.

The applicant shall attend the trial Court regularly. 6.

The application is disposed of.
