This is an application seeking condonation of delay in filing an appeal, challenging the the judgment and order of conviction passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Thane in Special Case No. 248 of 2015 wherein the Appellant -Applicant has been convicted for the offence punishable under section 363, 365, 366, 376 (2) (N), 344 and 346 of the Indian Penal Code and under section 3,4,5(L), 6 and 17 of POCSO Act, 2012. 2.

For the reasons assigned in paragraph Nos. 3 b and 4 of the criminal application, the delay of 59 days in filing the appeal is condoned. The criminal application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a) and stands disposed of.
