The petitioner prisoner, a convict in bomb blast matter, seeks arrangement of escort for his medical treatment. His grievance is dated 14.11.2016 and in forwarding letter dated 26.11.2016, Superintendent Nasik Road Central Prison has stated difÏculty in arranging the escort.

The difÏculty pointed out by the respondent cannot be an excuse to deny medical treatment. Period of more than three years has already expired.

Learned APP seeks time to verify the facts and to bring on record today's position.

Instead of adjourning the matter, we direct the respondent to see that ailment of the petitioner, if it subsists even today, is properly treated.

With this direction, we dispose of the Writ Petition. 6.

The order be communicated to the prisoner who is in jail.
