The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in pursuance of order dated 23.2.2016 his client has deposited the amount of Rs.50,000/- with the Maharashtra Legal Services Authority. In view of the same, Criminal Case No.47/SS/2009 stands compounded as contemplated under section 147 of the Negotiable Instruments Act,1881. The Consent Terms and Memorandum of Understanding are already taken on record on 23.2.2016. In view of the same, the present writ petition does not survive. Petition is accordingly disposed of.
