This is an application for bail in connection with CR No.148 of 2018 registered with Vanrai Police Station, Mumbai for the offences punishable under Section 376 of Indian Penal Code. 2.
The case of the prosecution is that the complaint was lodged on 7th May, 2018 by the prosecutrix aged about 29 years. It is alleged that the complainant got acquainted with the applicant which developed into friendship. Applicant was visiting their house and promising that he would perform marriage with the complainant. Both of them started residing together and under the promise of marriage, the applicant had physical relationship
Sknair 23-ba-2933-18.odt with the complainant. In January, 2018, it was noticed that victim was pregnant. Subsequently, the accused had disappeared and snapped his contact with the complainant.

As apparent from the First Information Report, the complainant and the applicant had stayed together and there was physical relationship under the promise of marriage. Investigation is completed.
ORDER
i Criminal Bail Application is allowed;
ii.
Applicant is directed to be released on bail in connection with C.R. No. 148 of 2018 registered with Vanrai Police Station on furnishing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount;
iii.
Applicant shall report to the concerned Police Station once in a month on first Saturday between 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m., till further orders;
iv.
Applicant shall attend the trial Court on the date of hearing unless exempted by the trial Court;
v.
Applicant shall furnish details about his permanent place of residence to the Investigating Officer after he is released on bail; vi.
