1] Heard both sides.

2] The grievance of the petitioner is that his remission was forfeited and he was removed from the remission register.

3] The learned APP on the basis of communication dated 17th April 2018 states that the petitioner has undergone his period of imprisonment and he has been released from prison. The communication is taken on record and marked 'X' for identification.

4] In view of the above facts, this petition is infructuous hence, Rule is discharged.
