The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner, on instructions, seeks permission to withdraw this Writ Petition with liberty to avail of an appropriate remedy so as to seek compensation for alleged illegal detention. The Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. There is no specific prayer in the Writ Petition seeking relief for compensation. Therefore, we are unable to accede to the prayer of the Petitioner to grant liberty to avail of the remedy, if any, seeking for compensation.
