By a reasoned order dated 28.11.2017 the applicants were granted interim relief.

The applicant No.1 is the mother-in-law and applicant No.2 is the sister-in-law of the first informant Smt. Priyanka Poul. The record of investigation indicates that accused No.1 Mr. Amit Bhasale has been arrested by the police and he is in custody. As noted in order dated 28.11.2017, the allegations against the present applicants are that of giving taunts, passing sarcastic comments against the first informant and demand of money. In view of the ratio laid down by the Supreme Court in the case of Arnesh Kumar vs. State of Bihar and anr. reported in
2 /2 22-aba-2086-17 (2014) 8 SCC 273 the applicants deserve to be protected by prearrest bail. 3.
In view thereof, the interim relief granted by an order dated 20.11.2017 is hereby confirmed.

Application is allowed in the aforesaid terms. 5.
In view thereof, the intervention application No.95/2018 does not survive and is accordingly disposed off. (A.S.GADKARI, J.)
