Regional Transport Office (R.T.O.) Thane invited online applications for issuing '

Permit' to ply authorikshow. A "Character Certificate" from special branch office Dy. Commissioner of Police, was one of the requirements. On verification, it was revealed, six applicants had forged Character Certificates. Investigation revealed, SSK 1/2

912-ABA-2630-19.doc two applicants Umesh Yadav and Rakesh Yadav, had obtained Character Certificate from the applicant. It is now revealed one hundred ten applicants submitted forged Character Certificates purportedly issued by the Dy. Commissioner of Police. Prima facie, material on record discloses complicity of this applicant in forging certificates. In view of nature of accusations, application is rejected. (SANDEEP K. SHINDE, J.) SSK 2/2
