Heard. This is an application filed by the Applicant, who is Respondent in Criminal Appeal No. 726 of 2001 which is an appeal against acquittal. By this application, the Applicant is seeking permission for travelling abroad, i.e., Dubai, UAE for the period of one week commencing from 3rd January 2017 to 8th January 2017.

The Applicant had earlier made similar types of application and he has been granted permision to travel abroad patilsr 1 / 2

by the order dated 10th January 2014, 16th December 2014 and 17th November 2016 passed in Criminal Application No. 9 of 2014, Criminal Application No. 1577 of 2014 and Criminal Application No. 1388 of 2016 respectively.

We accordingly allow this application and permit the Applicant to travel abroad, i.e., Dubai, UAE for the period 3rd January 2017 to 8th January 2017 on the condition that the Applicant shall furnish address to the police at which place the Applicant would be available and would be residing at Dubai and shall also furnish telephone number where the Applicant can be contacted if the need so arises. In addition thereto, on his return from Dubai, the Applicant shall submit necessary praecipe to this Court intimating his return from Dubai.
