The applicants are apprehending arrest in C.R. No. 144 of 2019 registered with Ajara Police Station, Kolhapur for offences punishable under Section 302, 143, 147, 148, 149 & 504 of IPC. 2.

The case of the prosecution is that the informant is the wife of the deceased Jagannath Gundu Mandekar. There was dispute on account of landed property of the cousins Gundu Mandekar and Mahadev Mandekar. The disputes were related to the partition of the property. It is alleged that on 2nd November, 2019 at about 11.30 a.m. the husband was accosted by accused Mahadev Mandekar and

Pundlik Mandekar assaulted him by Axe. Gundu Mandekar and others assaulted by fist and kicks blows. It is alleged that the applicants had also participated in the crime and had abused and assaulted the deceased by fist and kick blows. 3.

The applicants are in custody from 3rd November, 2019. The applicants are ladies. The role ascribed to them is abuses and assault by fist and kick blows. Balu Mandekar and Sachin Mandekar were granted Anticipatory Bail on the ground of alibi. In view of the role assigned to the applicant and also considering the fact that they are ladies and in custody from 3rd November, 2019, bail can be granted to them.

O R D E R

i) Bail Application No. 3354 of 2019 is allowed; ii) The applicants are directed to be released on bail in connection with C.R. No. 144 of 2019 registered with Ajara Police Station, Kolhapur on their furnishing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs.

20,000/- each with one or more sureties in the like amount;

iii) The applicants shall report concerned police station once in a month on every first Saturday

between 10.00 am. to 12.00 pm. till further order. iv) Bail Application stands disposed of accordingly. (PRAKASH D. NAIK, J.)
