The Applicant/Appellant/Accused who is on bail is praying for early hearing of the Criminal Appeal. The learned counsel appearing for the Applicant submits that Appeal is of the year 2007 and it is ready for hearing.

This Court is taking up appeals for final hearing in which Appellants are in jail. Appeals of accused persons who are already released on bail cannot be given precedence over cases of Appellants who are in jail.
