This is an application by the applicant/wife for transfer of Marriage Petition No. 1477 of 2018 from the file of the learned Civil Judge Senior Division, Pune to the learned Civil Judge, Senior Division at Satara. The record shows that notice is served on the respondent. The respondent has filed an affidavit-in-reply dated 13.03.2020 giving no objection for such transfer, with the only request for expediting the petition.

Today non appears for the respondent. However, considering the affidavit-in-reply and further having regard to the fact that in such case, normally it is the convenience of the wife which has to be seen, following order is passed:

ORDER

i) The application is allowed.

ii) Marriage Petition No. 1477 of 2018 is withdrawn from the file of the learned Civil Judge Senior Division, Pune and transferred to the file of the learned Civil Judge Senior Division, Satara for disposal according to law.

iii) The learned Trial Court shall proceed to hear and decide the petition as expeditiously as possible.

iv) In the circumstances, there shall be no order as to costs. C.V. BHADANG, J.
