The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks time. However, we noticed that the only prayer made in this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is of issuing a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to decide the representations which are mentioned in prayer clause (A) as expeditiously as possible. There is an affidavit-in-reply of Shri Ramesh Sadashiv Shendage filed on behalf of the respondent Nos.1 to 4. Though various preliminary objections have been raised, in paragraph-3 of the reply, the Tahasildar has assured that the representations/ complaints will be decided soon as per the provisions of law after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. We accept the statement made in paragraph-3 of the affidavit. 2.

By accepting the above statement, we dispose of this petition by directing the concerned respondents to decide the subject

SKN 2/2 709.18-wp.doc representations of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and, in any event, within a period of three months from the date this order is uploaded on the server. The decision taken on the said representations shall be immediately communicated to the petitioner. All contentions on merit are kept open.
