On 30th December, 2014 this Court has granted ad-interim order restraining Respondent Nos. 4 and 5 from organizing, conducting or operating a cock fight which was scheduled on 2nd January, 2015. The learned counsel appearing for Respondent Nos. 4 and 5 makes statement that in future they will not organize any such event which will run contrary to the provisions of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960. We expect from the State authorities that in future the State authorities will take appropriate action against any one who will be organizing such event.
