P.C. :- This Application has been sent by the Applicant from Jail, praying for his release on bail or in the alternative, praying for early hearing of the Appeal. The present Applicant/Original Accused No.1 had filed Criminal Application No. 797 of 2008 seeking suspension of the substantive sentence of imprisonment and his enlargement on bail. The aforesaid Application came to be dismissed by this Court on 7.10.2008. 2.

In the light of the dismissal of the earlier application, we are not inclined to suspend the substantive sentence of imprisonment and release the Applicant on bail. However,

APPA 1761.13.sxw since the Criminal Appeal is of the year 2008, we allow this Application in terms of the alternate prayer and direct that the Appeal filed by the Applicant alongwith other companion Appeals, if any, be added to the final hearing board of Criminal Appeals from 20.1.2014.
