It is not in dispute that the issues involved in the present Petition are identical to the issues invovled in Writ Petition No.929 of 2015, which was disposed of by the Division Bench of this Court by order dated 10 July 2017.

In the circumstances, for the reasons stated in the order dated 10 July 2017, we pass the following order:

(i) We direct the Respondent Authorities to complete the land acquisition proceedings already initiated, or to be initialed, within a period of six months in terms of provisions of the Act of 2013.

wp8531-16.doc (ii) The Land Acquisition Officer shall consider the loss, if any, caused to the owner or the person interested in their subject land in terms of Section 28 of the Act of 2013.
