The only prayer made in this Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is to issue a writ of mandamus directing the learned Judge, Family Court, Thane, to give priority to the disposal of a contempt petition. By an order dated 2nd November, 2015 passed by the learned Judge of the Family Court on application at Exh.81 made by the Petitioner, the learned Judge has observed that priority will be given to the Petitioner as it is a five years old case.

In view of the said observation made by the learned Judge of the Family Court, priority will be given to the disposal of the Megha 1/2
Megha 41_wp_744_2016.doc Contempt Petition. Hence, we decline to entertain this Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. Accordingly, the Petition is disposed of.
