P.C. :- The Applicant/original Accused No.3 has sent this Application from Jail, praying for separating his case from the other accused and for providing legal assistance from the Legal Aid Panel.

We do not find any grounds being made out for separating the Appeal filed by the Applicant. However, since the Applicant has prayed that a Counsel from the Legal Aid be appointed to represent him in the Criminal Appeal, we allow this Application to the limited extent by directing that a Counsel be appointed to represent the Applicant in the pending Criminal Appeal No.645 of 2008.
