6TH DECEMBER 2017 PC:- By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction against the respondents to prepare the voters list in accordance with the directions issued by this Court, by the order dated 16th November 2017 in writ petition (st.) no. 31531/2017. A writ of mandamus is sought for a direction against the respondents to apply the voters list dated 21st August 2017, which is based on the final electoral of Maharashtra State Legislative Assembly dated 1st January 2017 as published on 5th January 2017.

The petitioner had filed writ petition bearing (st) no. 31531 of 2017 for seeking identical relief. The said writ petition was disposed of in view of the statements made by the learned counsel for the respondent nos. 4 and 5 to the said writ petition. If 1/2

903-WP-13387-2017.DOC the petitioner is of the view that the voters list is not prepared in accordance with the statements made by the learned counsel for the respondent nos.4 and 5 in the disposed of writ petition and there is a breach of the same, the petitioner has other remedies. The same relief cannot be sought time and again by filing successive writ petitions.

In the result, we dismiss the writ petition with no order as to costs.
