On perusal of the pleadings in the present writ petition and the averments made in the application by the Petitioner before the appropriate authority, it appears that at the relevant time in the year 2014, the Petitioner's wife was seriously ailing and for the said purpose, the Petitioner had applied for parole and the same was rejected. Being aggrieved thereby, the present writ petition has been filed by the Petitioner.

In view of the passage of time, it is difficult to consider the prayer of the Petitioner. The Petitioner may avail of an alternate remedy as available in law in case his grievance subsists till date. 3.

In view of the above, the writ petition stands disposed of. 4.

Registry shall send a copy of this order to the concerned Jail
