By filing this Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner is seeking direction to the respondent Nos.2 and 3 to process the petitioner's stamp duty refund application dated 2nd December 2013 and decide the representations made by it from time to time in regard to the refund of the stamp duty amounting to Rs.33,72,620/-.

In view of the aforesaid limited prayer, we dispose of this petition by directing the competent authority of the respondents to examine the petitioner's claim and in case the application and representation of the petitioner are pending, to consider and take appropriate decision on the same in accordance with law.

In any case any amount is found to be payable by the petitioner before making the payment as aforesaid, we record the statement made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that the said amount will be paid to the respondents.

Needless to say that we have not examined the petitioner's claim on merits and the competent authority is free to take decision as expeditiously as possible, but in any case not later than 6 weeks from the receipt of copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
