In Crime No. 66/2018 for offence punishable under sections 307, 326, 323, 337, 504, 506 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code registered with Satpati police station, Palghar, the applicant came to be arrested on October 9, 2018 and was subjected to custodial interrogation. The weapon used in the commission of the crime were seized

However, the role attributed to the present applicant is only to the extent of bodily holding of the victim, whereas the father of the applicant who is alleged to have played vital role in commission of the crime is already protected by grant of pre-arrest bail.

In view of the above, in my opinion, no further detention of the applicant is warranted. Hence the order. i) The applicant be released on bail in Crime No.66/2018 for offence punishable under sections 307, 326, 323, 337, 504, 506 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code registered with Satpati police station, Palghar upon his furnishing P.R. Bond of Rs.15,000/- with two sureties in the like amount; ii) He shall not influence the witnesses or tamper with the prosecution evidence;

iii) Till filing of the charge-sheet, the applicant shall not enter the jurisdiction of the Satpati police station, Palghar. iv) The application is disposed of accordingly.
