P.C. :- This Application has been sent by the Applicant from Jail praying for issuance of necessary directions for expediting the hearing of the trial which is pending against him.

It appears that the Applicant was arrested on 15.12.2013 in respect of Crime No.546 of 2013 for an offence punishable under Section 366, 376 of the Indian Penal Code. We are informed that the trial is pending before the Sessions Court at Dindoshi i.e. Court No.12. We have also perused the affidavit-in-reply filed on behalf of the Respondent and sworn by the Assistant Police Inspector, West Control, Mumbai. From

APPLN. 728.14.sxw the affidavit-in-reply it transpires that the charge has been framed against the Applicant and the case has been posted to 24.2.2015. No further instructions have been placed before us in respect of the progress of the case.

Since the charge has been framed against the Applicant, we direct the Trial Court to expedite the hearing of the sessions trial and to expeditiously conclude the same. 4.

Application is thus allowed to the extent indicated above.
