Learned Counsel for the applicant fairly submits that trial has commenced and the prosecution has recorded substantive evidence of 3 witnesses. However, since last witness was examined the trial has almost at stand-still since the witnesses are not responding to the summons issued to the court. It is in these circumstances that the trial needs to be expedited.
It is in these circumstances that the learned Magistrate, Baramati seized with R.C.C. No. 346 of 2016 shall make every Talwalkar 1/2
12.ba2786.17 endeavour to summon the witnesses and not grant unwarranted adjournment to the prosecution and conclude recording of evidence as far as possible within 4 months from the date of receipt of this order.
The application is disposed of accordingly.
