Learned counsel for the applicant, upon instructions, fairly submits that in the present case, the charge has been framed, hence it can be considered that the trial has commenced. In view of this, it would not be necessary to go into the merits of the matter. However, the learned Sessions Judge seized with Sessions Case No. 112 of 2016 shall make every endeavour to conclude the recording of evidence as far as possible by 31st October 2019. The application stands disposed of.
