1] These applications are received through jail. The applicant has made a grievance that though his physical condition is not proper, the Jail Authority is not providing him proper medical treatment and also prayed that the appeal bearing No.301 of 2016 be heard expeditiously. 2] The learned APP has produced a medical certificate submitted by the Chief Medical Officer, Nashik Road Central Prison dated 9.3.2018 stating that after the applicant made complaint of chest pain, he was 1/2

appa.1638-2017.doc examined by the Specialist from the Civil Hospital, Nashik and was referred to Sir J.J. Hospital, Mumbai for further treatment. That after evaluating the medical condition of the applicant, proper medical treatment has been extended to him and the condition of the applicant as of today is stable. The said medical certificate dated 8.3.2018 is taken on record and marked "X" for identification.

In view thereof, the grievance of the applicant with respect to providing of medical treatment by the Jail Administration, does not survive. 3] As far as expeditious hearing of the appeal is concerned, the Registry is directed to list the aforesaid appeal on final hearing board from the week commencing from 4th June 2018 as per its own turn. 4] Both applications are disposed off in the aforesaid terms. 5] The Registry is directed to communicate this Order to the applicant who is lodged at Nashik Road Central Prison, Nashik.
