Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioners and the learned AGP for the State, we are of the opinion that this Petition can be conveniently disposed of by directing Respondent No. 3 - Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Sangli to decide the representation / proposal dated 2nd July, 2012 and 20th August, 2014 filed by Respondent Nos. 4 and 5 (Copy of which is annexed as page Nos. 74 to 83 to the Petition) which is received in the office of Respondent No. 3 - Education Officer on 22nd December, 2016, if not already decided, as expeditiously as possible, Vishal Parekar 1/2

Till the Petitioners' claim is decided, the Respondents are directed to maintain the status quo as it exists today in respect of the post occupied by the Petitioners.
