Having heard learned Counsel for the Petitioner and learned AGP for the Respondent-State, we deem it convenient to dispose of this petition by directing Respondent No.5-Education Officer, North Region, Brihanmumbai to dispose of the proposal dated 5th May 2017 submitted by the Headmaster of 2nd Petitioner-High School for individual approval to the appointment of 3rd Petitioner in the post of Shikshan Sevak (a copy of which is annexed at Exhibit-I to the petition) as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within the period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into merits of the matter and Respondent No. 5 shall decide the said proposal of patilsr 1 / 2

the Petitioners independently, on its own merits and strictly in accordance with law.

In order to enable Respondent No.5 to comply with this order, the Petitioner shall remain present before him along with a copy of said proposal and a copy of this order on 26th March 2018 at 11.00 a.m.

Protection granted to the Petitioner vide order dated 18th December 2017 shall remain in operation till final disposal of the aforestated proposal of the Petitioner.

Writ petition stands disposed of.
