Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State, in our considered view, the petition can conveniently be disposed of by directing the appellate authority-State of Maharashtra to dispose of the petitioner's appeal filed under Section 60 of the Bombay Police Act, 1951, a copy of which is annexed at "Exhibit C", page 17, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order. Ordered accordingly. 2.
