Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned AGP for the State, we are of the opinion that this petition can be conveniently disposed of by directing the Education Officer (Secondary) Zilla Parishad, Kolhapur to decide the representations / proposals dated 14 November, 2014 and 22 November, 2014 (Exhibit D collectively) filed by respondent nos.4 to 6 if not already decided, as expeditiously as possible, and within the period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the order.

Till the petitioners' claim is decided, the respondents - State is directed to maintain the status-quo as it exists today in respect of the post occupied by the petitioner.
