Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned APP.

By an order dated December 9, 2022, the applicant was granted interim protection and directed to co-operate with the investigation.

Learned APP submits that the applicant has cooperated with the investigation. 4.

The main accused is the accused no.1, who has received the entire amount of Rs.52 lakhs. The role of the

applicant has been investigated. Except for the statement of the accused no.1 that out of Rs.52 lakhs which the accused no.1 has received, a sum of Rs.7 lakhs was handed over to the applicant, no role is attributed to the applicant in connection with the said offence. The interim protection granted earlier deserves to be confirmed. Hence the following order.

ORDER

(A) In the event of arrest of the applicant-Gopal Kumar Agrawal s/o. Keshow Prasad Agrawal in connection with C.R.No.703 of 2021 registered with Kashimira Police Station, shall be released on bail on his furnishing P.R.bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount.

(B) The applicant shall report to the Investigating Officer of the concerned police station on 20th and 21st December, 2022, between 11.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. and thereafter, once in a month on every Monday as well as the dates on which the trial is fixed. (C) The applicant shall furnish the details of his residential address and phone numbers to the Investigating Officer.

(D) The applicants shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him/her from disclosing the facts to Court or any Police Ofcer and shall not tamper with evidence. 5.

The application is disposed of.
