According to the prosecution, the present applicants had induced the complainant and other victims in the present crime to invest money in their fish farming project and assured them of good returns. It is alleged that pursuant to the said representation the complainant and other victims invested Rs. 57,70,000/-. The allegations are that applicants had misappropriated the said amount.
