Mrs. M. H. Mhatre, APP for the State.

CORAM : RANJIT MORE & SARANG V. KOTWAL, JJ.

DATE : 6th JUNE, 2017.

P. C. :

When the matter was called out in the morning session, none appeared on behalf of the applicants and, therefore, it was kept back in the afternoon session. When the matter was called out again in the second session, none appeared on behalf of the applicants. It seems that the applicants are not interested in prosecuting the criminal application.

2.

Be that as it may, the application is filed for quashing the subject FIR. Learned APP, on instructions, makes a statement that the investigation into the subject FIR is completed and charge-sheet is also filed. In the light of the statement, in our opinion, the applicants have an efficacious alternative remedy before the trial Court. We are, therefore, not inclined to entertain the application. The criminal application is, accordingly, dismissed.
