At the outset, Mr. Sakhare, learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that he is restricting this petition to the relief claimed in prayer clause (a) only and he may be granted liberty to raise other issues at appropriate time before the appropriate forum. Statement accepted. Liberty as prayed for is granted. Prayer clause (a) reads thus :
a] this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue the writ of mandamus or by any other writ, order or direction, thereby direct Respondent No. 2 Education Officer (Secondary), Z.P. Solapur to consider and to give approval to the proposal of Respondent management dated 31/5/2016 for approval of the Petitioners post as full-time asst. teacher."

Having heard learned Counsel appearing for the respective parties, we deem it convenient to dispose of this writ patilsr 1 / 2
petition by directing Respondent No.2-the Education Officer, Secondary, Zilla Parishad, Solapur to decide the proposal dated 31st May 2016 submitted by the Headmaster of Respondent No.4-school [copy of which is annexed at Exhibit-D to this petition] requesting to grant approval to the Petitioner's appointment as Assistant Teacher, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within the period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into merits of the matter and Respondent No.2 shall decide the said proposal for grant of approval to the appointment of Petitioner independently, on its own merits and strictly in accordance with law. 4.
In order to enable Respondent No.2 to comply with the directions given hereinabove, the Petitioner shall attend 2nd respondent's office on 9th April 2018 at 11.00 a.m with a copy of the said proposal and a copy of this order.

Writ petition stands disposed of.
