1) This is an application received through Jail for bail and for discharge of the applicant from the offence under section 224 of the I.P.C. The applicant is life convict and when he was released on furlough leave and had overstayed the stipulated period and therefore, an offence under Section 224 of the I.P.C. has been registered against him on 1.8.2015. As the applicant is already under going sentence of life imprisonment, his application for bail under Section 224 of the I.P.C. in my opinion need not be considered. 2) As far as prayer of the accused-applicant that he may be discharged from the said offence under Section 224 is concerned, the applicant is granted liberty to file appropriate proceeding either for discharge or to make representation to the Jail authorities as may be permissible under the law.
