The charge against the Applicant is that of purchase of the stolen material.

The material involved in the crime is already seized from the custody of the prospective purchaser. The Applicant has not received any consideration for the sale of the alleged stolen property. There are no criminal antecedents against the Applicant.

That being so, ad-interim protection granted earlier by this Court on 12th November 2018 is confirmed. In addition that - (A) The Applicant shall attend the Investigating Officer on 18th , 21st & 26th February 2019 between 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon and thereafter as and when directed by the Investigating Officer. (B) The Applicant shall neither tamper the evidence of prosecution nor influence the prosecution witnesses.
