The only relief sought by the petitioner in this petition is to seek expeditious hearing of Criminal Appeal No.80 of 2015 filed by the respondent, husband challenging award of maintenance to her and Criminal Appeal No. 688 of 2015 filed by her for enhancement of the amount of maintenance with a direction to dispose the same off within a period of 3 months. Both the appeals have been filed in the year 2015. The petitioner has not made out any case for getting precedence over all the other earlier appeals pending in the Sessions Court. Therefore, it would not be correct to direct the Sessions Court to expedite the hearing of the appeals. Hence, the petition is dismissed.
