Learned Counsel for the appellant states that the appellant has expired and as such, the appeal against conviction filed by the appellant stands abated.

Perused the telegram sent by the Maharashtra State Police Wireless Satellite Telegram, Pune City. In the said telegram addressed to the Registrar, High Court at Mumbai (reference Criminal Appeal No.1008 of 2017) and other authorities, it is stated that the appellant expired on 14/12/2020 at Sasoon General Hospital, Pune, where he was undergoing Wakodikar 1/2

14. APEAL 1008-2017.doc medical treatment . Pursuant to the said telegram received by the Registry, the aforesaid appeal has been placed on board. 3.

Learned APP states that in view of the said telegram, the appeal would not survive, inasmuch as, the same is abated. The said telegram is on record.

In view of the demise of the appellant, the appeal stands disposed of, as abated.
