The learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that, Petitioner is appointed as a Peon on 2nd April, 2012. The proposal is submitted to Respondent No.2 seeking approval to the appointment of Petitioner as a Peon.

The learned counsel submits that, Respondent No.2 communicated with Respondent No.1 under letter dated 21st April, 2018 (Exhibit ' I'

) that the appointment of Petitioner is prior to 2nd May, 2012 as such permission be given to grant approval of the Petitioner. The learned counsel submits that as yet no further steps are taken.

The learned AGP appears for the Respondent-State. In case the proposal seeking approval of appointment of the Petitioner is pending with Respondent No.2, Respondent No.2 shall decide the same in accordance with law on merits expeditiously and preferably within four months. The Education Officer shall consider appointment of Petitioner as prior to 2nd May, 2012.

The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
