Heard learned counsel for the respondent Nos.4 and 5 as well as learned AGP for respondent Nos.1 to 3.

Learned counsel for the respondent Nos.4 and 5 points out that by this petition, the petitioner is seeking a stay of the impugned award passed under section 98 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act. He points out that in the appeal before the Minister for Cooperation, interim stay has been granted on 30/12/2016 and therefore, nothing survives in this petition. He also states that connected batch of petitions have been disposed of as infructuous and in particular he has pointed out the order dated 4/7/2017 passed in Writ Petition No.1095/2017.

The learned counsel has also tendered a copy of the order passed in the appeal by the Minister for Co-operation. In that view of the matter the petition is disposed of as infructuous with no order as to costs.
