This is an application through jail seeking expeditious trial in Sessions Case No.45 of 2014.

The learned APP, upon instructions, submits that the trial has commenced and the substantive evidence of four witnesses has been recorded. In view of this, no further directions are necessary. 3.

The learned Sessions Court shall ensure that the accused/applicant is brought before the Court on every scheduled date, failing which the learned Sessions Judge may take appropriate action. The learned Sessions Judge shall also not grant unwarranted adjournment in favour of the prosecution.

Application stands disposed of.
